Overcome the learning curve

Home learning shouldn’t be a setback. But with higher demand for virtual classes, connectivity is one of the biggest challenges of all. With Frontier’s K-12 Connected @ Home Initiative, we clear the path for students most in need—and help them jump the connectivity barrier.

What is K-12 Connected @ Home?

K-12 Connected @ Home is a partnership between Frontier Business and school districts. Its goal is to keep students online and active, providing broadband services to those who need it most. Together, we identify those students and establish their connection so they can stay online and learning. All at a discounted rate.
the frontier approach

A strong and secure connection for all

As you get started with K-12 Connected @ Home, we work with your procurement team to identify students most in need of broadband services and ensure we can provide you with an affordable and reliable connection. Once these students are identified, we provide an NDA for complete anonymity for students and families. Our approach is simple. The impact is meaningful.

Partnership Principles
Sponsored service

School districts pay Frontier directly for home Internet services for individual students. Families will not receive a bill from Frontier. School districts across the country have already begun partnering with broadband providers to purchase home Internet services for unconnected families in their districts.

Confidentiality

Frontier will work with school districts to quickly and confidentially identify which students need service.

Eligibility

Frontier will develop baseline eligibility standards in partnership with school districts to evaluate which students qualify for coverage. At a minimum, they include households with students on the federal Free and Reduced Lunch program.

Requirements

Frontier requires only the street, city, state and zip code of the student requiring the service.

Program

Frontier will not use school-supplied information for targeted marketing of collateral services to families covered by the program.
