Technical Data Sheet

Managed Network Services (MNS) is Frontier’s portfolio of seamlessly integrated Managed Services including Managed Dedicated Internet, Managed Security, Managed Wi-Fi and Managed Cellular Failover.

Frontier provides and manages the Dedicated Internet transport and delivers integrated end to end management of data.

NOTE: Managed Dedicated Internet is required in order to add Managed Security, Managed Wi-Fi and Managed Cellular Failover.

Managed Dedicated Internet

Managed Dedicated Internet is subject to the following specifications:

  • Traffic Management - The customer will not exceed the purchased bandwidth.
  • IP Address Policy - Frontier will provide up to 5 usable IP addresses at no additional cost.
  • Standard Frame Size - MTU of 1518 bytes
  • Domain Name Service - Frontier provides primary and secondary Domain Name Service (DNS). DNS is a network service that automatically translates domain names into internet addresses.
  • Service Level Agreement - Delivering 99.99% guaranteed circuit availability and 4 hour mean-timeto- repair (MTTR).

Customer Support

  • Customer Support - Frontier provides a toll-free trouble reporting number to the Frontier Technical Support team on a 24x7x365 basis. Frontier provides support for service -related inquiries.
  • Network Monitoring - Frontier monitors all customers on our IP Network on a 24x7 basis.
  • Frontier standard maintenance window - Sunday to Saturday from 12:00am to 6:00am (local time across all time zones).

*RJ45 handoff standard for up to 300’. Additional charges apply for distances over 150’ and must be identified prior to contracting.

Managed Wi-Fi*

  • Up to 4 Access Points (APs) or up to 10k sq. ft coverage
  • Professional, white glove installation including Up to 150 ft CAT 6 cable for optimal AP placement (on average per AP)
  • AP placement up to 12 ft from floor
  • Indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi coverage
  • 1 Private SSID & 1 Guest SSID

* Managed Dedicated Internet is required to add service enhancements (Managed Security, Managed Wi-Fi, Managed Cellular Failover)

**Managed Cellular Failover bandwidth will be the lowest of the following: local cellular coverage, subscribed MDI bandwidth speed or 100 Mbps. When Cellular Failover is engaged, IP addressing will be DHCP. Static IP’s only applicable while using Managed Dedicated Internet service.
